House rules Adventure Park & Family Resort De Tovertuin
Welcome to Adventure Park & Family Resort De Tovertuin! We do everything we can to make your stay and that of other guests as pleasant and safe as possible. By entering our park, you agree to the house rules below. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Guest Services.
Arrival and departure
Your accommodation is available from the check-in time stated on your booking confirmation. Instead of a physical key, you will be given access to your accommodation via the Tovertuin app. This digital key is automatically activated on the day of arrival as soon as the check-in time has been reached and expires on the day of departure at 10:00 a.m. You are responsible for the use of the digital key. It may not be shared with others who are not included in the reservation.
On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the accommodation clean and tidy by 10:00 a.m. at the latest. This means sweeping the floors, emptying the refrigerator, clearing the dishes and removing the bedding from the beds.
Adventure Park & Family Resort de Tovertuin reserves the right to vacate the accommodation if you do not check out on time. Would you like to leave later? Please contact Guest Services in advance to discuss the possibilities for a late check-out.
Waste
Waste must be separated into the appropriate bins in your accommodation. It is not permitted to leave waste elsewhere in the park. Your waste must be deposited in bags in the appropriate container at the recycling centre. The recycling centre also has a glass container. Chemical waste may not be deposited in the containers, but must be handed in to the Municipal Cleaning Service.
Visitors and guests
Visitors are welcome between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. and must report to Guest Services upon arrival. Visitors may park their vehicles in the car park. Overnight stays are possible, provided that accommodation is available. Ask Guest Services about the options. Guests pay an overnight rate and tourist tax. Visitors and guests also agree to abide by the house rules when entering Avonturenpark & Familie Resort de Tovertuin.
Use of barbecues
The use of barbecues that run exclusively on gas or electricity is permitted in the park. The use of other types of barbecues is not permitted. Avonturenpark & Familie Resort de Tovertuin reserves the right to prohibit barbecuing in the event of extreme drought. Please contact Guest Services to rent a barbecue.
Pets
Adventure Park & Family Resort De Tovertuin offers pet-friendly accommodation. If you are bringing a pet, please indicate this when making your (online) reservation. The number of pet-friendly accommodations is limited. Other accommodations are not accessible to pets. Pets that are not kept in a cage must always be kept on a leash. Pets are not allowed on the sunbathing lawns and playgrounds. As the owner, you are responsible for cleaning up after your pet.
Inspection and maintenance
Avonturenpark & Familie Resort de Tovertuin reserves the right to enter the rented accommodation for inspection and maintenance work, should there be reason to do so.
Furniture
Deliberately causing damage to the furniture is not permitted, nor is moving furniture to other accommodations. Indoor furniture may not be placed outside.
Night-time peace and quiet and nuisance
Adventure Park & Family Resort De Tovertuin requests silence between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. During this period of night-time peace and quiet, the use of sound equipment or similar is not permitted. Noise nuisance is also not permitted during the day.
Emergencies
In the event of a fire, you must immediately alert the fire brigade (112) and then Guest Services. In the event of an emergency or danger, security must be notified immediately via the emergency number.
Traffic and parking
Adventure Park & Family Resort De Tovertuin has a spacious car park with more than enough spaces. It is not permitted to park your car or other vehicle elsewhere in the park, except for loading and unloading on arrival and departure. Please stay on the paved road and take note of the traffic direction: follow the signs. After loading and unloading, we ask you to park your car in the car park as soon as possible.
We provide two free parking spaces per booking. The registration number of your vehicle must be provided in advance when making your booking. Additional vehicles can be parked in the car park for a fee. The speed limit in the park is 15 km/h. Follow the direction signs and ensure that roads remain accessible for emergency services.
Prohibitions
- It is not permitted to pitch a tent next to or near accommodation. Camping is only permitted on the designated camping pitches on the site.
- It is not permitted to light open fires; be alert to the risk of fire.
- It is not permitted to hang washing lines. A drying rack is available for washing.
- It is prohibited to dig holes, including for the purpose of disposing of waste water.
- Smoking is prohibited in the accommodation. Smoking is only permitted on the terrace of the accommodation. The rest of Adventure Park & Family Resort De Tovertuin
- is smoke-free.
- It is prohibited to feed animals.
- It is not permitted to possess or use narcotics at Adventure Park & Family Resort De Tovertuin.
- It is not permitted to possess firearms at Adventure Park & Family Resort De Tovertuin.
- Football and other ball games are only permitted in the designated areas.
Swimming pool and facilities
The Plons swimming pool is exclusively accessible to guests who are registered at the Resort in accommodation. The swimming pool is open during the indicated opening hours and is not actively supervised, so use is entirely at your own risk. Children up to the age of 12 may only swim under the supervision of an adult. Swim nappies are compulsory for children who are not fully potty trained. Persons without a swimming certificate are required to wear a suitable flotation device, such as arm bands or a life jacket. These are available at the swimming pool. To ensure everyone's safety and comfort, glassware, alcohol and food are not allowed in the swimming pool area. It is also not permitted to enter the swimming pool under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other narcotics. Narcotics are not permitted. We ask all guests to keep the facilities clean and to follow the instructions of the staff. In the event of undesirable behaviour or failure to comply with these rules, access to the swimming pool may be refused.
Lost and found items
Found items can be handed in at Guest Services or to one of the park employees. It is not permitted to keep or trade these items. If you have lost an item, please report this to Guest Services so that your details and the type of item lost can be noted. If you discover that you have lost an item after returning home, please contact Guest Services. If the item is found, we will send it to you cash on delivery.
Photography and other visual material
Taking photographs and videos is permitted, provided it is for private purposes. Are you filming for non-private purposes? Please contact info@detovertuin.nl to obtain our permission. Other guests may not be recognisable in the images. The use of drones is only permitted with the permission of the park manager and must not cause any nuisance to other guests.
As a guest, you may be photographed or filmed. Avonturenpark & Familie Resort de Tovertuin always reserves the right to use this material for publication. If you do not want to be filmed, please avoid the location(s) where you see a film crew and/or professional photographer at work.
Wi-Fi and use of technology
Free Wi-Fi is available in the park. Illegal downloading of material is not permitted. If you have connection problems, please contact Guest Services.
Liability
Adventure Park & Family Resort De Tovertuin is not liable for loss, damage or theft of personal property. All facilities are used at your own risk.
Complaints
Do you have a complaint during your stay? Please report this to Guest Services as soon as possible so that we can work together to find a solution. After your stay, you can also contact us by e-mail.
Changes to house rules
Adventure Park & Family Resort De Tovertuin reserves the right to change the house rules and facilities without prior notice.
Violations
In the event of a violation of the house rules and failure to follow instructions from management and/or employees, Adventure Park & Family Resort De Tovertuin is authorised to charge costs. In serious cases, our employees may deny you access to the park or remove you from the park.
